Subprocessors

What is a Subprocessor?

A subprocessor is a third-party data processor engaged by Wallper that has, or may have, access to certain personal data processed on behalf of our users. This access is strictly limited to the scope required for providing services such as infrastructure hosting, payment processing, email delivery, or analytics.

Each subprocessor is contractually obligated to comply with applicable data protection laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA/CPRA) and to provide adequate safeguards for confidentiality, integrity, and security.

List of Subprocessors

• OVH SAS (France, EU) — Dedicated server infrastructure: backend services and wallpaper/file storage run on a dedicated server hosted in OVH EU data centers.
• Stripe, Inc. (USA) — Payment processing and licensing.
• Vercel Inc. (USA) — Website hosting and global CDN.
• Resend, Inc. (USA) — Transactional email delivery (e.g., license emails, support replies).
• Google LLC (USA) — Site usage analytics (only with your consent).
• Note: All subprocessors are reviewed and bound by appropriate Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) and/or Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) where applicable. Operational user data (license records, wallpaper storage) is hosted in the EU on Wallper-controlled OVH infrastructure.

Data Transfers Outside the EU

When data is transferred outside of the EEA/UK, we ensure adequate safeguards are in place.

• Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission.
• Participation/certifications under frameworks such as the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework (where applicable).
• Technical and organizational measures including encryption in transit and at rest.

How We Evaluate Subprocessors

• Review of security policies and industry certifications (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2).
• Assessment of compliance with privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA/CPRA).
• Contractual obligations ensuring data confidentiality, integrity, and proper sub-processing controls.

We may update this list as our infrastructure or services evolve.
