How is Wallper different from the Aerial screensaver?
Aerial plays Apple’s built‑in videos only as a screensaver; Wallper plays any video as a full live desktop wallpaper.
Apple’s Aerial screensaver plays a curated set of aerial footage while your Mac is idle. Wallper is different in two key ways: it runs as an active desktop background (not a screensaver), and it plays any supported video file — yours or from the Wallper library.
You can still use Aerial alongside Wallper; they don’t conflict. Wallper handles the active desktop, Aerial kicks in when your Mac goes idle.
